That’s why we are proud to share that the Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for our main products are now third-party verified, approved, and published on EPD Global’s website.
An EPD is a standardised, verified document that shows a product’s environmental footprint across its entire lifecycle — from raw materials to manufacturing, use, and end of life. It provides a transparent and comparable way for customers to understand environmental impact.
Beyond providing transparency to customers, EPDs give us the detailed data we need to systematically reduce emissions across our value chain. They help establish a reliable baseline for our climate accounting, enabling us to set meaningful reduction targets and understand where we can improve. This work is part of a broader sustainability effort at Zaptec, which includes climate-risk assessments and close collaboration between our Sustainability and Supply Chain. By identifying environmental “hotspots”, such as opportunities to source components in Europe rather than Asia, EPDs guide decisions that strengthen both our products and our footprint.
As we move forward, we will report according to the new VSME standard developed by EFRAG, ensuring that our disclosures align with European expectations and reflect what stakeholders value most. Our goal remains clear: to build long-lasting products responsibly and to contribute to the green transition with every charger we make.
