Reduction in cost when scaling with ZapCharger Pro EV charging system
A ZAPTEC installation shares one single circuit and one single power cable. All communication between the charging stations and the ZapCloud happens through the same power cable.
The all-in one ZapCharger Pro charging station with integrated fuses, ground protection (RCD type B) and advanced load balancing controlled by ZapCloud allows a much simpler setup than traditional solutions.
The unique design of the ZapCharger Pro with electrical connection backplates allow the electrical work to be done separately from the actual installation of the charging station. In a ZapCharger Pro system, you start with the investment in a shared infrastructure and then connect charging stations as the need arises.
Making your building or garage EV charging ready has never been easier or more affordable.
The first step is to invest in a shared infrastructure, one single cable with electricity and communications for all charging stations, to make EV charging available for all residents.
After this, your building or garage is EV charging ready.
You can decide to install backplates at the same time as the shared infrastructure or later when buying additional charging stations, or a combination.
Choose the most optimal solution for your scaling needs.
Add ZapCharger Pro charging stations when the need for additional charging arises. Installation can be done by non-certified personnel on the existing infrastructure.
In a shared garage, residents can buy their own charging stations at the time they need it.
Scaling an existing installation with ZapCharger Pro requires no extra work or investment in the fuse cabinet, cabling or extra equipment.
New charging stations are simply connected to the existing infrastructure.
Use a flat cable to make it easier to scale your installation
The flat cable solution is a convenient installation method made possible by our unique charging system. The cable will also carry network signal to all the charging stations keeping them online.
Installing the flat cable makes it quicker and easier for the electrician and will save cost. This allows you to install up to 30 charging stations on a single fuse. Installation of the charging station can be done at any given time.
