Zaptec signs the e-brand partnership agreement with the German Electrical and IT Trades Association (ZVEH), emphasizing its commitment to working with the German electrical trades to meet the challenges of the energy transition.
The Norwegian technology company Zaptec and the ZVEH, the German Electrical and IT Trades Association are joining forces through a brand alliance of the electrical trades.
Zaptec signed the e-brand agreement at the beginning of March at Light + Building 2024 in Frankfurt.
"We are delighted to welcome Zaptec as a new e-brand partner from the e-mobility sector," says Stefan Ehinger, President of the ZVEH: "Solutions in the field of charging infrastructure represent a sector that has become very important for the German electrical trade in recent years, and demand is continuously increasing among our guild members."
Zaptec is already the market leader in Norway and Sweden, and the specialist for charging infrastructure is also becoming increasingly well-known in Germany. With a compact portfolio, the Norwegian manufacturer offers suitable solutions for numerous applications, including single—and multi-family homes, companies, and fleets. Thanks to the Zaptec portal, the products are user-friendly, easily scalable, and provide flexible options for managing and monitoring the charging process.
The charging solutions produced in Germany are based on high-quality electronics and state-of-the-art software. They are characterized by technologies such as patented phase balancing. A 5-year guarantee and charging cables that are not permanently installed provide additional safety.
The electrical trade links manufacturers and customers and will be an essential part of the energy transition in the coming years. For us, membership of the ZVEH is not only a seal of quality, but also offers us direct insights into the complexity of the German trade. At Light + Building 2024 in Frankfurt, those responsible at Zaptec - Daniel Gwercher, Managing Director of Zaptec Deutschland GmbH - signed the new e-brand agreements together with ZVEH President Stefan Ehinger, ZVEH Managing Director Alexander Neuhäuser, Hans Auracher, ZVEH Vice President and Chairman of ArGe Medien im ZVEH, and Gabi Schermuly-Wunderlich, Managing Director of ArGe Medien im ZVEH.
The Central Association of the German Electrical and IT Trades (ZVEH) represents the interests of 48,225 companies from the three trades of electrical engineering, information technology and electrical engineering. With 524,224 employees, including 45,967 trainees, the companies generate an annual turnover of 87.8 billion euros.
